The Quick Heal 2011 free download edition has improved on performance features. It now uses less memory and other system resources, and scans run faster. Quickheal Anti-Virus is breeze to download and install. The moment you download and start the installation procedure, it will walk you through in a straightforward manner. Good thing is that it doesn’t require a restart. I did not find it the fastest, but it’s relatively quick and performs an update instantly. After the antivirus software is installed you can pretty much sit back and let it do its business.
The installation process continues to be one contentious issue with this otherwise good application. The installation of Quick Heal can be a tedious process. After installation, on launch, the first scan can take some time. A status window then lists the features that have been activated, and the features that have not been activated.
